   NYLON (Glass Fiber Reinforced)
  • High impact strength at much lighter weight than metal counterparts
  • Corrosion resistant -- threads will not seize on mating threads
  • Will not easily cross thread or seize on mating threads

POLYPROPYLENE (Glass Fiber Reinforced)

  • Similar properties to nylon (above) yet more resistant to most acids than nylon couplings

PVDF

  • Highly acid resistant
  • Withstands higher temperatures than other coupling materials
  • Nonflammable and self-extingquishing
  • UV stable
  • Made from FDA ingredients
  • May be sterilized using autoclave, ethylene oxide, or gamma radiation

POLYPROPYLENE (Food Grade)

  • Excellent resistance to most acids, alkalis, salts, and alcohols
  • Resists animal, vegetable, and mineral oils
  • May be sterilized with gamma radiation up to 6 mega rads (discoloration may occur)
  • Made to MIL-C-27487 dimensions
NYLON

  • Material: Glass-fiber reinforced nylon -- yellow in color

CAM OPERATED COUPLINGS are available with BSPT (metric) threads through minimum order.

NOTE: On 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8" sizes, the coupler and insert portions are to the 3/4" standard. On the 1-1/4" size, the coupler and insert portions are to the 1-1/2" standard.
