Tubing & Hose Buying Tips
#2: Pressure & Vacuum
It can be challenging to make sure you’ve covered all the bases during the tubing and hose selection process. Have you considered all the elements involved with the application? Temperatures, chemicals, pressures, flexibility needs? In Tubing & Hose Buying Tips we’ll address common selection factors, one at a time, in each issue of extrusions.
This second tip focuses on pressure and vacuum requirements. Applications can range from simple drainage lines, well handled by gravity and involving virtually no pressure, to those requiring a robust product able to manage full vacuum (29.9 in./Hg.). READ MORE...

FAQs on Our Inventory and Shipping
Here you’ll find answers to questions regarding inventory and delivery that are frequently posed to our Sales Team.
Q: Is (name of product) in stock? A: We stock over 10 million feet of tubing and hose in our warehouse and maintain large inventories of popular products and sizes.
Q: Do you carry (brand name of a competitor’s product)? A: No, we do not carry products manufactured by our competitors. In most cases we stock a superior or equivalent product. We maintain cross reference information to help determine equivalent products.
Q: Can I get (name of product) in a shorter or longer length than what is listed? A: Many products can be supplied in fixed shorter lengths, although a charge applies because labor is required for cutting and packaging. Custom lengths and repetitive cutting during the manufacturing process are available (call for details). Longer length availability depends on the product. Some items are manufactured in such a way that longer lengths are simply not possible.
Q: Will my order ship today? A: 98% of in-stock orders ship the same day the order is placed, unless you request a specific shipment date.
Q: Can you provide a tracking number for my shipment?
A: Yes. Your sales representative can give you this information.
Q: When can I expect my order to arrive?
A: Depending on the items ordered, products can ship for next-day delivery. NewAge has even arranged for same-day delivery when necessary. Orders of large quantities and/or large-size tubing or hose that ship via common carrier generally take longer than shipping by UPS or a similar package delivery service.
Q: Do you drop ship?
A: Yes. Blind drop shipping is also available.
