Discover whether the tubing or hose can handle one or more standard cleaning methods. Other important information to know is how many cycles, or how many times, it may be cleaned using the same procedure.

Material Focus
Viton®
Known for its resistance to oils and chemicals, Viton, a high-performance synthetic rubber, retains its good mechanical and chemical resistance properties at high temperatures (400°F/204°C) better than any other known elastomer. Viton is also a standout material in its resistance to weather-related aging and ozone.
Viton was developed in the late 1950’s, and its initial application was in the aerospace industry. Viton’s oil resistance and performance at elevated temperatures made it a natural fit for aerospace fuel lines.
