Here's Why We Have So Many Engineers on Staff
You have questions. We want to provide answers. That's the reason in a nutshell.
We recognized that product designs were getting more and more complex, especially those involving our AdvantaPure® high purity products. Our existing staff was challenged to handle the influx of customer requests for assistance. In order to remain a respected and reliable supplier, the solution was easy: employ additional highly-qualified people.
We've promoted our ability to provide engineering assistance for decades, but we needed to expand our technical expertise regarding processes, equipment and the latest product testing options available.
And so, NewAge hired additional team members dedicated to engineering functions. Our staff includes Design and Test Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, an Engineering Project Manager and an Applications Engineer. The backgrounds of these individuals include work involving industrial engineering, biomedical products, manufacturing, thermoplastics and thermoset materials. Members of the team hold ASQ (American Society for Quality) certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
As a result of this engineering team expansion, NewAge can conduct:
- Package puncture, tear and integrity testing
- Tensile testing
- Test protocol design
- Pump life testing
- Statistical data collection and analysis
- Elevated temperature testing
- Product development capabilities
- Faster prototyping
We also continue to provide outside testing for sterility, validations and physical properties concerning the hardness or softness of materials, dimensions and mechanical data. Most test requests involve specific product applications related to AdvantaPure products.
Our Engineering Team offers fluid flow assembly solutions and can help guide inventors and designers from idea and concept through to testing and production. The team uses the robust and efficient Stage-Gate® process for new product development. Projects are carefully managed to ensure that all critical steps are taken throughout the development process, and customers can speak directly with engineers.
