PRESS RELEASE
March 27, 2001 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CUSTOM FABRICATED,
FLARE-ENDED TUBING FOR RETROFIT OR NEW EQUIPMENT
 |
Southampton, PA
Immediately available from NewAge Industries is custom
fabricated, flare-ended tubing for a better fit on
equipment, fittings, and attachments. NewAge fabricates
custom ends on tubing of PVC, polyurethane, nylon,
polyethylene, or fluoropolymer materials according to
your specifications. Applications for the product include
fluid, air, and gas transfer in industries such as
chemical, medical, industrial, appliance, automotive,
food and beverage, laboratories, and more.
Flare-ended tubing offers several advantages. Better flow
within the tube can be achieved because the flaring
allows more room for attachments, such as barbed
fittings. Easier installations are possible with flare
ended tubing, too, as the expanded ends can be sized to
slip over special attachments without difficulty. Tubing
with flared ends can also be heat-formed with bends and
curves to better work with and around equipment,
eliminating kinks and awkward bends. This can be
especially important in limited space applications where
aesthetics are a concern.
PVC, polyurethane, and fluoropolymers (PTFE, FEP, and
PFA) provide characteristics such as chemical and fuel
resistance, durability, flexibility, clarity for visual
contact with the flow, and abrasion and wear resistance.
Nylon and polyethylene are available in a variety of
colors for coding purposes. Tubing with flared ends can
be manufactured quickly when stocked tubing in these
materials is used because all flared end work is done
in-house by our experienced Fabrication Team. Many dies
and bending forms already exist.
