NARROW JAW PINCER FOR CONFINED-AREA CLAMP INSTALLATIONS NOW AVAILABLE FROM NEWAGE INDUSTRIES

Southampton, PA — Immediately available from NewAge Industries is the Oetiker brand NARROW JAW PINCER, a unique tool for applying and removing stainless steel clamps. The pincer is specially made to fit into tight areas where other tools cannot operate. Most any industry that uses clamps to securely attach tubing or hose to fittings can take advantage of easy-to-install, ear-type clamps, using the NARROW JAW PINCER for proper application and removal. The NARROW JAW PINCER was designed to solve the problem of clamp installation in tight spaces. The jaw is just 3/8" wide, allowing the tool to fit into confined areas where a standard-size pincer cannot. Conditions that call for the NARROW JAW PINCER are often found in retrofit or repair operations, where equipment, appliances, and machinery was constructed with limited consideration of clamp access. Constructed of forged steel, the NARROW JAW PINCER is durable and easy to manipulate. The plastic-covered handles make gripping easy, and the smooth, rotating action of the pincer's handles allows the tool to operate without difficulty. In addition to the NARROW JAW PINCER, NewAge Industries offers Standard and Side Jaw Pincers. The Standard Jaw Pincer, with a jaw width of approximately 3/4", can be used in clamp application and removal situations when access to the clamp is unhindered. As an alternative, the Side Jaw Pincer can apply and remove ear-type clamps using the side edge of the tool in locations where the pincer must be held parallel to the tubing or hose receiving the clamp. This pincer may also be used like the Standard Jaw Pincer. Several styles of ear-type clamps, in sizes ranging from 5/32" through 1-9/16" nominal O.D., are also available from stock.
