PTFE TUBING NOW AVAILABLE IN AWG & FRACTIONAL DIMENSIONS — Special Sizes Brought Back in Response to Customer Demand

Southampton, PA — Offering a multitude of sizes, AWG & FRACTIONAL PTFE TUBING has been reintroduced by NewAge Industries, Inc. The tubing offers benefits such as high dielectric strength and non-flammability to the automotive, chemical, pure water and air, electric, robotic, and other industries. Manufactured in the PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) formulation of fluoropolymers, AWG & FRACTIONAL TUBING provides outstanding chemical and temperature resistance. In fact, it offers one of the widest service temperature ranges of most any thermoplastic tubing available: -275°F to 500°F (-170°C to 260°C). These temperature extremes, along with the tubing's low coefficient of friction and excellent volume resistivity, make AWG & FRACTIONAL PTFE TUBING a popular choice in electrical applications. It is often used as insulation from chemical contact or thermal conditions. AWG & FRACTIONAL PTFE TUBING had been discontinued several years ago, but due to customer inquiries and demand, the product is now a stock item once again. As with some other tubing and hose products, NewAge Industries received feedback indicating that customers had difficulty obtaining the item elsewhere. In our continuous effort to satisfy the customer, we reintroduced the tubing with the release of our tenth and most recent catalog. PTFE TUBING is available in AWG sizes from 30 through 0 and in fractional sizes from 1/8" through 1" I.D. Three wall thicknesses — standard, thin, and light — are offered.
