VARDEX is produced from non-toxic ingredients conforming to FDA standards. The hose offers mirror-smooth surfaces and glass-like clarity for outstanding visual flow characteristics. The steel wire, which is completely encased within the PVC, allows for higher pressure capabilities than unreinforced products while it greatly enhances VARDEX's resistant to kinking, crushing, or collapse. VARDEX maintains its cylindrical shape in either pressure or vacuum applications and can, in fact, handle a full vacuum (29.9 in./Hg.). VARDEX is lighter in weight than similarly-sized rubber hose yet is tough and corrosion resistant.

Available from stock, VARDEX is offered in nine sizes ranging from 1/4" through 2" I.D. Other sizes, cut lengths, formed shapes, colors, and thermal bonding are available through custom order. VARDEX mates with various styles of fittings--barbed, quick disconnect, and cam operated--all available from NewAge^® Industries.
