Southampton, PA NewAge Industries is pleased to announce the availability of Newloc® Push-to-Connect Fittings in two materialsacetal and brassfor use with rigid and semi-rigid tubing such as nylon, polyethylene, and polypropylene. The use of Newloc fittings often involves pneumatic systems, and applications involving liquid transferfood and beverage, chemicals, and potable water, for instancealso employ this easy-to-use fitting.
Newloc fittings provide instant leak-free connections with no flow restrictions. They install quicklysimply push the end of the tube into the fittingand may be disconnected and reused. Styles include Ys, 3 and 4 way connectors, Ts and reducing Ts, elbows, straight connectors, swivel types, options for bulkhead applications, and many more.
The acetal and brass materials that make up Newloc fittings have some important differences. Newloc Acetal fittings are made from lightweight, FDA-sanctioned materials and are listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF 51 and NSF 61). They are available in both fractional and metric sizes ranging from 1/8 through 1/2 and 4mm through 12mm. Newloc Acetal fittings offer a working pressure rating of up to 230 psi and can handle full vacuum (29.9 in./Hg). Temperature use ranges from 4°F to 158°F.
Newloc Brass fittings are constructed of durable brass and provide higher pressure and temperature ratings than their acetal counterparts. All male pipe threads are supplied with a pre-applied fluoropolymer sealant, and sizes available range from 1/8 to 1/2 (no metric options). Like Newloc Acetal, the brass version handles full vacuum. Nickel-plated Newloc Brass fittings for improved aesthetics are available as well.
