A new silicone tubing extrusion line and a new TPE tubing extrusion line at our Warrington operations are producing AdvantaSil® silicone tubing and braid-reinforced hose and AdvantaFlex® weldable and sealable TPE tubing.
The new AdvantaFlex line and its manufacturing processes have completed full qualification and validation with IQ, OQ, and PQ (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification), tubing tolerances, and biological testing. Product performance has been verified to be comparable to that manufactured at our Southampton location. Both facilities use the same make and model manufacturing equipment, and finished products meet all product specifications.

AdvantaFlex TPE tubing, produced at the Warrington facility, was stored in quarantine while awaiting additional test results. Upon passing, the product was made available to customers. Testing related to silicone is expected to be completed next month.
Additional clean rooms in Warrington will allow for even more AdvantaSil and AdvantaFlex production. Extrusion equipment installation in these spaces will begin soon.
